Am scratching my head over WHICH
HOTEL to book for my wedding banquet in Malaysia... Had to decided asap....
There are just
TOO MANY things to consider...
1) LOCATION
- I wanted hotels at KL. ie. Hilton, KL Tower, Marriot.. BUT, Most of my dad's relative stays at KLANG or Kapar.. so location is a big problem..UNLESS i rent a bus for them...
Because of this issue..i had to book hotels/restaurant which are near my place.. ie. Sunway Hotel, Saujana, Holiday Villa, The Sheraton, Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Klang Huang Gong restaurant.
2) Ballroom size, decoration & themes, lightings (Pillarless, Chandelier, sound system+, ambience)
3) FOOD & Service Quality!
4) Minimum table required
5) PRICE (Quoted by Hotel: Price may increase subject to to a
minimum 5%-10% for year 2010) (Subject to 10% Svr Charge & 5% GST)
5) Minimum and Maximum tables
Will evaluate ALL these in individual photos..

Fairy Tale Wedding Packages ranging from:
Weekdays: RM1,188.00++ (RM1,378 nett) to RM1,488.00++ (RM1,726 nett)
For Saturdays & Pub Holidays: RM1,288.00++ (RM1,494 nett) to RM1,488.00++ (RM1,726 nett)
Enchantment Wedding Packages ranging from
Weekdays: RM888.00++ (RM,030) to RM988.00++ (RM 1,146 nett)
For Saturdays or Pub Holidays: RM988.00++ (RM1,146 nett)
(Per table of 10 (minimum 30 tables)
Sounds good to me... since the PRICE is right and ballroom's not bad...
BUT, Actual price will only be made known 3 months before the wedding! In this case.. how would i know how much is the increase?!!

Don't know where i threw the brochure.. coz it was way too ex..
Pretty grand ballroom.. BUT it was RM1400++ (RM1,624 nett) per table!!!
Heard that their food is good...
Well.. wanted to choose this.. BUT can't afford..
Holiday Villa, Subang
I LOVE the Victorian Ballroom! It's very beautiful and ENGLISH!
The Chandelier and the ceilling simply makes the ambience different!
The ballroom is beside a lake and a swimming pool! (use to swim there twice a month =p)
The price quoted for the Victorian Ballroom were:
(Price may increase subject to to a
minimum 5%-10% for year 2010)
Eternal Bliss : RM1088++ (RM1,388 nett aft estimation of 10% increase in prices)
Double Happiness : RM1188++ (RM1,516 nett aft estimation of 10% increase in prices)
Heavenly Romance : RM1288++ (RM1,644 nett aft estimation of 10% increase in prices)
Really LOVE the ballroom.. but the downside of Holiday Villa is:
1) VERY OLD, especially the parking lot and walk way to the ballroom... horrible..
2) Food ain't good.. am not sure abt the service.. comment by friend that the menu is very 'Mat yo yo'
3) Max around 35 tables..
4) EXPENSIVE...

Love the Ballroom, coz it's high up.. able to see KL's view..

Just put this in for fun.. coz it's a pretty new hotel.. new ballroom..
But location (Cyberjaya) is a No No for mummy...
Price quoted was:
RM 1,088++ (RM1,262 nett)
RM 1,288++ (RM1,494 nett)
RM 1,388++ ..not interested ..
Audio Visual Charges:
1) Handheld microphones @ RM 150.00nett per unit per day
2) Wired microphones @ RM 50.00nett per unit per day
Flowers Arrangements:
1)Brass Stand Flowers at RM 25.00nett per unit
2)Vase Flower Arrangement at RM 25.00nett per unit
3)Chest Corsage at RM 7nt per piece
4)Full Flower Arch at RM 1,000.00nt per unit
5)Half Flower Arch at RM 650.00 per unit
